i was gonna order one since its cheaper than other wheels but i heard that there are some complaints about the bearings breaking so shoold i get 1 or no?

I love my Chin Spin! One of my boys has a CS, while the other has the Flying Saucer. They both run on their respective wheels equally, and I've found that the Chin Spin has been much quieter compared to the FS. That just may be with my cage set up, though, but I'm extremely happy with the CS!

which model do you have the 2008 cause thats the one people are sayin its breaking

I bought a Chin Spin one year ago and I absolutely love it and have had no problems with it whatsoever. Could be there is a problem with the new one though. I also have a Flying Saucer and I think it's a great product as well and now finally my fourth chinchilla Feeney as of last night has mastered it, yay!

I have had one ChinSpin for 3 years and the other for 2 and have had no issues at all...my chins love it far more than the saucer.

Ah well i guess Im sold on the chin spin. My father made a flying saucer type wheel for my sister's chin and it was great! But i dont think that type of wheel will be good in my cage.

I got a chin spin last June and haven't had any issues with it at all. My chin is on it daily and I can't imagine not having it. It is definitely pricey but it is a worthwhile purchase.

I purchased a chin spin 2 months ago. It's great! You can't even hear it when they're on it.

::sigh:: I wish my girl used her CS. I bought it for her about 1-2 years ago, and she never (not even once) has used it! :( It is quite though.... since its never used! :hair:

I bought a ChinSpin from QC in April 2008. The only problem I've ever had with it was that the central bearing had become loose so the wheel wasn't spinning properly on the axal. All I had to do was take it apart and tighten the central bolt. It was really simple to do, you just need a wrench. It's my chin's favorite thing in the world. It's one of the best things I've ever purchased for her.

I got mine in December of 2007. It just recently got a little wobbly. We just tightened it up and it's as good as new.

How do you tighten it? Mine has a regular nut, but the bolt has a hex or torx shaped indentation in it, and I haven't been able to figure out how to tighten it.
