Chin Nightmares?

My chin Pepe will be sleeping soundly and then out of random will wake up screaming as i call it. lol

its so loud and then i call to him that hes okay and then he falls back asleep.
I once saw him do this. sleeping then back jolt up and scream.

are these little chin nightmares or is he just smokin too much timothy hay?

I think they do it because they are upset or lonely, at least that's when my chin does it. I don't associate a "cry" as a good noise, so I check on her right away to make sure she hasn't hurt herself, or just to comfort her.

I'm not sure about having nightmares though, but I've heard a lot of other people mention the same thing.

its just weird because im always right there so no need to be lonely
