Chin ears

I was wondering if and how often chins ears should be cleaned? What do you use?

We have never cleaned the ears of our chinchillas.

Chins never need their ears cleaned.

I assume you mean inside? I would never, ever clean the inside of a chin's ear unless a qualified, chin experienced vet had told me it was absolutely necessary. Introducing a foreign body into a chin's ear could lead to an infection, and very few chins survive ear infections.

Thanks! I thought as much, but wanted to make sure. I've never cleaned them and didn't know if I was doing something wrong. I recently learned that guinea pigs need their ears cleaned so I got curious.
