I've noticed that my chin doesn't go nuts for a dust bath like I've seen a lot of chins do. Do some chins just not prefer bathing as much as others?
I've offered it to her twice out of the past five days with no luck, not even a roll.

Any suggestions?
I have it in a large bowl with curved sides.

Thanks!

Low and behold, when I finally sit down on the floor (out of view of the cage) and start to work on making a cover for a section of the cage, I hear some commotion and rolling. :dance3:

I'm using crap Kaytee right now, just got her late last week on a short budget, can't wait to get some Blue Cloud over here.

But she does have a nice new pine hut that somebody made for her today. [cough]

Yup. My last rescue was like that. As long as you wouldn't watch her she would dust without an issue. The second you would look, she would stop.

I honestly think it's an instinctual thing.
Bathing is a chance in the wild for a predator to attack, so it would make sense that she wouldn't do anything with me watching her, lol.
