Chilie and the food bowl!

:thumbsup:Not sure if this is the right place but just wanted to vent a little on my sweet baby chilie! she has now within the past few days decide its hilarious to knock her food bowl over off the shelf onto the ground! Looks like i will have to order her the food bowl ledge at the simply chintastic site.
:hair: i hate wasted chin food but love her, lol after the fact it is kinda funny. here is a pic of this rebel

What if you put it on the bottom level of the cage? Does she still knock it over?

Mine started doing that too, so I also just left them on the bottom of the cage. Such silly chinnies! I've also heard of using industrial velcro to secure it to the shelf.

Mine would sometimes tip them. I know some members have had to go with coop cups, and some chins still manage to tip them. Chins are silly though, aren't they? Lil mess makers.

Gizmo likes to dump his too so here's how I fixed him. Its half under a shelf which gives him plenty of room to eat, yet the shelf prevents him from being able to get ahold of the bowl to dump it.

yeah i have thought about the cups but then i just figured i could get the shelf and have it as big as i need to with the built in bowl. i think t hey might like it better lol i think she is doing in on perpouse cause she knows i will buy her some new things hahaha

lol of course more oppertunitys to escape! Her food bowl is still on the floor and i dont really like it there but i guess i will just have to wait till payday

Same here! Two days in a row now. I don't know if they do it on purpose or just while jumping around. Didn't think about putting it on the bottom since it's always full of poop.

Well the food bowl is still on the floor she hasnt knocked it over but now she has started to move it every which way possible lol i hope i get my tax refund pretty soon so i can fix this problem
