Chili not pooping!

Hey all, I'm new to this forum but I need some advice. My three year old Chili Chinchilla hasn't been pooping much. I noticed it about a week and a half ago and took him to the vet. They did a full work up, X-rays, the whole nine and said it was his food. I started feeding him Oxbow and he pooped well for a day or so but that was it. His appetite is great and so is his energy. The vet is now suggesting to dremmel his teeth but X-rays showed they weren't over grown. Not sure what to do. I'm a concerned mama!

Sounds like a blockage or a stasis issue. Did the x rays show any evidence of gas or possible impaction?

No point in doing dental work if his teeth are fine! Definitely sounds more like a gut issue. He might need some meds to get his gut moving again. I haven't dealt with this before, so I don't recall the names of the meds, but if you use the search function here, you should find plenty of info from others who have dealt with similar situations.
