Chicago south suburbs

I am south of Chicago about 5 minutes from the Indiana border and I'm looking for an exotics vet who is not 90 mins from my house. Valpo is over an hour and so is Midwest exotics. Does anyone know of any others near me?

I'm from the southwest suburbs of Chicago and it takes me less than an hour to get to Midwest Exotics. Dr. Betsy Clarkson (at Midwest) is who I would take my chins to 1st over any place around here. Cal City to Midwest Exotics is 45 minutes via 90/94 then to 290. The only other vet I have been to that was helpful anywhere near me is Dr. David Ihrke at Colonial Manor Animal Hospital in Homer Glen on 159th St.

I drive to Midwest Exotics from Munster, IN, and it's about hour + 20/30 mins for me. Not a quick drive, but they're really the only good exotic vet in the area. The problem is that a lot of vets will SEE chins, but many don't actually have the knowledge to do so... best to go someplace that you know has actual experience.

Oh yeah, if you go, just smile and nod and close your ears when they go on their soapbox about how you should feed leafy greens, and ONLY leafy greens, to your chin. *facepalm*
