It's no big secret that I think CBS was stupid for cancelling Moonlight on the cusp of all things vampire--Mick St. John rocked and his vampire private detective thing was awesome. But long before Mick St. John and Moonlight there are other shows and characters I really miss!

Little House On The Prairie & Highway to Heaven and Michael Landon--both of these shows were just great. I think I cried on every episode of Little House

How The West Was Won and Bruce Boxtleiner's Luke--LOVED this show! The love story between Luke and Holly put my 8th grade heart to fluttering.

Dr Quinn Medicine Woman and Joe Lando's Sully and Jane Seymour's Michaela. The episode where she had injured her hands and he brushed her hair for her OMG total meltdown for me! I once got out of a speeding ticket when I was driving to a friends to pick up the tape they recorded of the first kiss shared by Sully and Dr Mike--I told the cop why I was speeding and Stewart was bawling in the back seat--pretty sure the cop thought I was a psycho!

My So-Called Life and pretty much the whole cast but especially Jared Leto's Jordan Catalano. This was the best show ever on television. It might also be the very last thing I ever watched on ABC.

La Femme Nikita and Roy Dupuis as Michael and Peta Wilson as Nikita, and really again the whole cast. One of the best shows ever on USA--CW is coming up with their version this year and I don't think it's going to hold a candle to this series.

The Big Valley, The Six Million Dollar Man, The Fall Guy--I MISS LEE MAJORS!

How about anyone esle???

I agree with Dr Quinn, Little House and Highway to Heaven. I also loved the Waltons, Anne of Green Gables series, and Wind at my back. I don't so much miss the individual characters as the shows themselves. I guess this ages me. lol

im just gonna say that i miss old school nickelodeon. you know:
* rugrats (before they "grew up")
* are you afraid of the dark
* salute your shorts
yea...and that game show! it had slime in it, but i dont remember the name. they work ridiculous late 80's/early 90's neon clothes.

other tv shows that i miss:
the monkees (i was obsessed)
boy meets world
anything on abc's "TGIF" nights....i swear, pizza on fridays+TGIF defined my first 12 years of life.

My So Called Life, Alf, MTV when it had music videos, Mr. Belvedere, Punky Brewster, The Cosby Show, etc...

Just for Luci - You Can't do that on Television and Hey Dude!

Definitely Little House on the Prairie, Cosby Show (which really doesn't count because they still do reruns), and My So Called Life.
I also miss NYPD Blue and definitely the TGIF nights. Brady Bunch, Double Dare...I'm going to have to think about this some more!

Oh Laura thanks for reminding me of NYPD Blue! I miss Sipowicz so much! I remember watching and thinking OMG what more can they put this poor man through? They kill his wife, they kill his son and they kill his partner. How he didn't return to drinking I do not know. I'm glad he found love again in the end of the show.

Full House! Perfect Strangers! Family Matters! I loved TGIF and pizza! It was a family tradition in my household growing up!

I also miss The Smurfs, The Snorks, Gummi Bear Adventures and Thundercats!
