changing liners & cage cleaning

my question the other day about washing liners was answered (yay vinegar!) but i was wondering how often you all change your fleece liners??
i just changed everyones last night and the downstairs boys cage already smells a bit but my upstairs gang is fine.
maybe i need to actually clean the cage. for those that have the FN, how often do you take it apart to clean OR what is the easiest way to clean it?

for me, I change the liners once a week. I have been using a litter box (aka a pan from walmart filled with aspen bedding) but just recently I stopped using them because I was getting tired of cleaning them and having bedding to vacuum up, so far so good. I only have one bass pan (don't have the divider set up in the FN) and I I wipe down the pan with a mix of warm water and vinegar, I have also used a product called "clean cage" but hey vinegar is cheaper! I have a lot of ledges since I don't have the divider in, so I vacuum them off probably about every 3 days or so. My girls are good about not peeing on their ledges but I do clean them every month or so with some warm water and vinegar. I use one of those no scratch green scrubby things you buy for cleaning dishes, of course I use a new one each time and then just toss it.
