I wouldn't use it because it would be pointless. The only dishes or bowls that work in a chin cage are flat bottomed. A dish like that is going to keep getting tipped over, spilling any contents.

cute lil bowl :))

you could use it on the cage floor for hay. that way if it gets tipped it won't have the chance of being knocked off a shelf and shattering.

but what Tunes says is true, any dish not flat bottomed does tend to get tipped and spilled.

ok thank you, then do you know where i could find a nice looking ceramic bowl for hay? and maybe one for pellets too? my current bowl isnt big enough, the boys are always head-butting in the bowl, trying to shove each other, and i dont want a fight to start

Check your local petstore. For hay I use a large/thick glass drinking cup on it's side. If you don't already have one you can get it for less then $1 at walmart, meijer, etc.... If your boys are shoving each other for pellets I'd get a 2nd bowl. Even if you had 1 larger bowl it still might be a territory thing and they still might bicker over it. Chins can be such the little stinkers :)
