Mira has had this hole in her ear since I brought her home. I have always wondered what may have caused it. I don't think it was her kits, I never really saw them chewing on her ears. And it seems like a strait cut to me, not something chewed.

It could have been caused by a fight or just may have been scratched at one point. I have a few chins that I have gotten with holes right through their ears.

It could be from fighting or an ear tag would be my guess. I used to tag on the top of the ear few years back like a few other breeders had thought me but no longer do. So if it was a tag that was cut out instead of ripped out then I can see why its straight.
BTW if its not the top ear i apologise, using my PS3 to surf the web has its limits lol
