Can I buy this instead of blue kote?

My blue kote was thrown out accidentally, and I need more immediately because I'm still treating Sadie's wounds. Is it okay to buy the genitian violet they have at Walgreens? There are no feed stores nearby and I have no car. My other option is to order some online, but I'm worried the shipping will take too long since it's a Friday.

Like Laura said, Genitian Violet works just fine. I don't buy Blu Kote anymore knowing I can get Genitian Violet for half the price.

Ask the pharmacy. It's usually behind the counter with the prescriptions medications.
