can chinchillas eat alfalfa timothy hay cubes?

I recently bought my 2 chinchillas alfalfa timothy hay cubes. I perfer the cubes because it makes less mess. Ive been doing some research and have read alfalfa can cause urinary problems for adult chinchillas. But havent been able to find anything regarding alfalfa timothy hay cubes specifically for chins. I also feed them loose timothy hay. Any help please? Thank you!

I feed my guys alfalfa and timothy hay cubes with no problem. Feeding only alfalfa can cause several issues especially if you also are feeding an alfalfa based pellet, but in addition to timothy or other hay it's fine. I feed a combo of loose hays, cubes, and those new stackies oxbow came out with.

I give my chins alfalfa timothy cubes once a week in addition to loose hay. They love it. It's fine to give them the variety.
