Cages, cages, cages?

Hey guys.
I was wondering if there are any other cages you guys have that you are happy with that is around the same price as the Ferret Nation? I was just wondering because I dont want to buy a new cage and then make modifications to it. The only reason im not going with liners is because you have to have two sets of them because you need one in while one is washing, and the deep pans are a little pricey. I only have one chinchilla, but may be getting a second one in the future. Thanks guys for all the help.

P.S. If you know any other FN alternatives for the bottom, please let me know because i love the FN, just not the hassle that somes with spending alot of money to modify it.

Looked on craigslist. I purchased a Quality Mansion 3 to 4 months old complete wheel, shelves, cage guards, etc for $80.00. The lady got divorced and it belonged to her husband and was collecting dust in her garage.

I have the Mansion as well. I got it for free from I believe Susan (AZChins) that she had passed to someone else. It cost me $70 to make shelves including hardware, but it depends on the wood and where you shop. I am happy with it. I have used fleece on the bottom and it worked fine, as well as aspen bedding which stays in the bottom for the most part. A few pieces here and there on the floor surrounding, and I have also just used nothing. It was easy to clean and was quite cool for them also, but very loud. I have 2 boys in it and there is more than enough room for both of them.. My only con about it is that the door is not big enough, and its sometimes hard to grab the chins. Other than that, I love it.

Yeah, the door issue is basically why i am upgrading, and that there's a plastic bottom on mine.
