Beware the 2 headed chin
I've only have a hand full of chins at the moment, so this doesn't really affect me, but I'm curious what size cages people use who have larger numbers in their herds. Many years ago, I originally visited a breeder who had many many cages in one small bedroom of their house. The cages were all identical 2' x 2' x 2' with one wire shelf for the animals to climb up to. These were then stacked from floor to ceiling. I've always thought this set up was too small, but then recently saw a picture online of a breeder who seemed to be using an even smaller set up (although I could be wrong). My impression has always been the bigger the better, but just how big do you go when you have a high number of animals to house?
