I had two more litters today, which makes 5 litters (and 14 kits) in one week - this is a record for me as I normally don't even have that many in one month!

RYX B65 is a huge TOV Ebony female, out of Annie (TOV Eb) bred by Wendy Torgerson and Ash, my Champion Ebony male bred by Connie List. Thank goodness she was from a single litter as she weighs in at 80 gms! I went down and peeked in on all of the chins around 1:30 this afternoon. Good thing I did as the kit was stuck and Annie could not deliver it on her own. I managed to pull the kit out and while she wasn't breathing or moving at the time of delivery, after several good slings to clear mucous and rubbing briskly for 30 minutes she was taking weak breaths. After about an hour she started moving around under mom slowly and this evening she appears to be bright and perky! I should add that Annie managed to only gain 30 gms during her pregnancy and delivered an 80 gm kit! To say this was a surprise is an understatement!!!

RYX B66 is a BV female out of Sassy, a BV bred by Mish Irish and Buckeye, a Shoots Standard. She weighs in at 57 gms and her standard sister, B67, unfortuantely appears to be a preemie weighing in at 28 gms. She appears to be nursing and I am supplementing but I do not expect that she will make it.

I have submitted photos of all 3 kits and one picture shows them all so you can see a Standard, BV and TOV Ebony in one shot as well as the size difference between 28 gms, 57 gms and 80 gms!

Watch out - they deliver when you least expect!

I think I may have to hire on some help to get through the next couple of weeks!

LOVE the size on the TOV ebony, ebony babies look so cuddly, like little bears :) Congrats and hopefully you keep your sanity over the next few weeks!

Congrats AGAIN Juanita lol. Please share some of your magic chinnie love potion with the rest of us LOL. By the way if you are going to be offering any nice high quality dark - ex dark eb males please let me know. (Preferably not related to Sitara). Thx! (Figured I'd throw that out there since you are in the middle of an EXTREME baby boom).

I will keep my fingers crossed for the little one. She looks pretty bright in the pictures so she has a fighting chance. They are all beautiful.

Go Annie, go Annie, go go go Annie! Gorgeous babies! I am so pleased that the new baby is doing well. Fantastic job helping mommy out and saving that kit! I hope your twins hang in there and do well also. Your 2012 production is CRAZY!! :)

Your 2012 production is CRAZY!! :)

Yes - it is a nuthouse here for sure! I just finished up downstairs trying a triple foster situation to help the moms with trips or more and to help alleviate the number of kits I have to supplement! I have been living in the chin room since I returned from camping 2 days ago and am not a huge fan of that continuing for the next 6 weeks!

Everyone seems calm for now so keeping fingers crossed!

I am up to an average of 3 kits per breeding female that I own and it is only July - thinking of shutting down production and taking the rest of the year off. Lol!!!

All of my moms with fat single kits wish you the very best of luck! We are a bit curious about what kind of pornography you were showing in your chinchilla room back in April though?! :dance3:

I hope everyone does very well and that you do not have to supplement everyone for the whole six weeks. Bravo on all your extraordinary efforts however!

Oh Juanita the photos made my day! Congrats. I want to work with eb so bad! Just holding off for a few years until I have space in the next house. ;)

Sending good vibs for the tiny kit.

Rip b67

B67 the premature standard female gave up the fight about an hour ago. Not unexpected but sad nonetheless.

B65 the large 80 grammer is spunky as can be today and mom was happy to foster one of the ebony quads for me!

One step forward.

Congrats on your full household this week! I can't keep up with all of your births! I am so sorry you lost the little one. May the rest of your litters continue to grow and thrive!

I am so so sorry about the preemie but super glad to hear you are able to divy up the load so to speak. IT TAKES A VILLAGE!!! LOL

Congrats on all your litters lately Juanita!! The one thing good about a baby boom is that there are plenty of moms to foster babies off too! :) I hope you can foster out as much as you need to, to help out the moms with quads and you from not having to handfeed!
