thanks they are both boys just like i thought. my male boys just started fighting only thing dif. is i split cage and have girls on top so not sure if thats it or a breeder tolde me they just might have changed there mind and dont want to be together hope thats not it. i have put them in different cage girl have whole cage boys have another cage. will sep them for the night until i know there not going to fight

From what you said on the phone to me today they will need to be separated, many people here have had chinchillas kill each other when they were cage mates for even years.

That's just it, you will NOT know if they will or won't fight again, and it could be a deadly outcome if they are not separated once they've already fought.
