Boo makes a weird sound

When you open the cage door, the boys like to come up and get love, well, at least Ru goes. If you try to pet Boo, he kacks at you, and then sits there and makes this grinding sound.... Why's he making it?? Is he okay? Or is he just being grumpy?

2 of mine do it when they are annoyed at me for disturbing them, so maybe this is what yours is doing!
