My husband's father lives in Los Angeles, CA and I am seeing that the BC mine is very close. I'm able to find the latitude, longitude, but not an address online. Does anyone have an address, a website that does?

This is what I am able to find.

I really want to get some Blue Cloud chew blocks.

Address: P O Box 800520. Saugus, CA 91380
Phone #661-252-7808

I believe the mining company is in Canyon Country. Saugus and Canyon Country are pretty close to each other.

Or, if anyone is planning on going would you be willing to pick me up some chew blocks? I know they aren't cheap, but I would be interested in the irregular ones. I think they are $9.00 for 12? I think that's what I remember reading but I will call them to make sure.

Do you have pictures of the chew blocks? Or are they like those pumice cubes about 2"?

I would call and talk to Norm first before driving up there. I got the impression from him that he preferred people to make appointments because its a working mine and sometimes people drive into areas they aren't supposed to. I haven't been to the actual mine though, so maybe someone that's been there can weigh in. When I bought my dust he had the freight company I was using make an appointment to come pick it up.

Definitely call ahead - and know that he may or may not have what you want when you get there. He does not sell blocks anymore only the small tumbled stone.

Ronda just stopped by and he told her he had 7 bags of rocks, when she got there the next day he only had one. So she went 400 miles out of her way to get one bag at the mine.

That is not the address of the mine - it does not have one. You call him and he will meet you and take you out there. He doesn't work past 4PM.

Good luck. He does not work with people and he does not care. (He has a big contract with Petco and Petsmart for dust and rocks) You've been warned! :))

I have to agree with everything Spoof said. I have been there 7 times last year and once this year. I found it easy for me to talk to Norm, plus he also worked at the same place my husband works at.
