I bleached my sneakers (in a separate room) but, before i put them away Tinker touched one. I do not think she put any part of the sneaker in her mouth, i think she was just sniffing it. I immediately brought her down stairs to wipe her hands and mouth in case there was any bleach residue. I will keep a close eye on her. Think this is an emergancy or just a worrying chin mom? Any signs i should watch for in particular if she did ingest/breath in some bleach?

hm. i wouldn't really know. i'd say just watch her eating, drinking, pooping, and activity levels and patterns. if any of it changes within twenty-four hours of her touching your shoes, take her to a vet and see if they can give you something for detoxification. check her eyes and nose- make sure her eyes are clear and not watery, and make sure her nose is dry. i don't know much else about this, but hopefully it's nothing to worry about. :)

hope someone much more knowledgeable can help here. =P

good luck! :)

Bleach can be and is used in drinking water to help eliminate bacteria in place of chlorine so I doubt just touching something that been bleached will be a problem.
