Bird perch safe?

I know some people purchase bird toys for their chins. I haven't done that yet but to me this looks just like wood a loofa, unless I'm missing something.

The one pictured looks fine, as you said it looks like wood and loofah. However, the "Offered in assorted styles" worries me if ordered online, you may not get that specific one. Reading one of the reviews a person mentions an assortment of possible things attached to the perch, not all material that is safe for birds is safe for chins. Also it doesn't mention what kind of wood is used in the perch, once again not all wood that is bird safe is also chin safe.

Thanks! To me, the wood looks and smells like pine. It's in my local store so that's why I was asking about the specific one!

In that case, I would say it's safe! ) I love the bits of loofah in it!
