best water bottle

What's your guys opinion of a great water bottle? Any thoughts on the glass super pet bottle?

Glass only water bottles of course... I actually use the super pets bottle; for no particular reason...--It was the cheapest I suppose (my parents purchased it). It's practically impossible to find a non-leaky water bottle, but with fleece lining that doesn't matter anyway. It stops leaking eventually.

I have the glass super pet bottle. You need to fill it all the way. I find that other water bottles are more forgiving, but this one will leak if you don't fill it to the tippy top. I really like the spring that holds it to the cage.

I use glass 8oz lixits, very few problems.

I use the Super Pet glass bottles as well. As long as they are clean and you fill them to the top they should not leak. Even with fleece it's not good to leave a leaking bottle in your cage. Sometimes the spring just needs to be adjusted up or down a bit to get the right angle. Another thing to check is the ball, make sure it's clean and tap it a few times to make sure it seals. Leaking bottles can lead to wet spots in the cage where you chin could sit which can lead to wet fur.

I hate the super pet bottle personally they never work properly, either leak or dont allow any water out at all... No matter how I filled it or hung it or shook it etc did not work at all... The living world bottle (glass) is by far the best bottle I have ever had!

My favorite water bottle... the Edstrom watering system. I have it on my cages now which consist of one Ferret Nation, and one Critter Nation.

As for actual bottles, I prefer the Lixit's.

I like the edstrom water buddies too, I heard they stopped making it, so I got 2 more spares just in case one breaks.

i use the plastic water bottle but i get the one out side of the cage that you put the piece in side the cage because i was having to buy so many water bottles because my chinchilla would chew on the plastic
