Hello all! I have come back to after a long break, I left unannounced and without warning. Some of the older members may remember me as "Chinwhiskers". As you have probably noticed I have a new username but my chinchillas are still here. Gidget and Gadget are both doing great.
I took a long break due to the fact I went on a four month vacation, while I was gone I left my chinchillas in the care of a friend. Well, to get to the point my friend decided to let the two of them play together. Guess what happened? Yep, Gidget got pregnant. I was furious when I got back home. Although there was nothing I could do it was already done.
On August 19th, 2008 Gidget had two healthy babies. One is a male white ebony named Mitch and the other is a medium ebony female named Ya-Ya. Ya-Ya lives with her mother and Mitch and Gadget both live in separate cages far away from the females.
