Baby will be here Tuesday!!

I found out yesterday that my little one will be here Tuesday! My EDD is on the 8th but I've been walking around 3cm dilated and pretty soft since the 15th when I ended up in L&D with some spotting and contractions.

My new OB (my other one had to move beginning of Jan) realized that it only took me 4 hours with Emma to go from 1-10cm and that we are 30 mins from the hospital. I was told to come in at the first sign of labor (if I go before Tuesday). I see her Monday, make sure there is room for me at the hospital for Tuesday and I will get to meet my little one! I still can't believe it.

Oh I know. Emma just turned one on the 15th. She's walking and talking, but still so little. She measured in at 19lbs and 30 inches at her 1 year check up. Which has been fantastic having her be small while pregnant. I dont know what I would have done if she was huge and wanted to be carried around.

I couldnt agree more, unfortunately i dont think i will allow myself NOT to know, UNLESS the baby didnt work with us of course.

That's basically what happened to us I have no self control otherwise. We knew with Emma at 16 weeks.

Oh wow. My 7 month old is 17lbs and 25 inches and I thought she was tiny! But you are right, I couldn't imaginer having a plump baby, my back would go out!

Good luck and congrats. For sure get there as soon as you can if you go before the date. My first one was 5 hours and my newest baby was only 3 hours. So it defiantly gets quicker with the second.
