Wow.. Fruitvale Ave. is not too far from here... crazy! In 20+ years livin' here.. I've never heard of one being found on the freeway...

Yeah, I remember about 22 years ago when I lived in the bay area and commuted on the Nimitz from Fremont to Oakland... and a seal had traveled up the storm drain runoff channels/pipes and popped up next to the Oakland Colisseum, and got hit by a car!
