baby kimonos

Does anyone know where to get baby kimono style clothes? I'm looking for a "dress" style kimono style outfit for my nephew. Something that has no legs, but is long enough to cover legs and that ties closed on the side.

Are you talking about the colorful/silky japanese style kimonos or the cotton fabric kimono wraps?

The cotton style I have seen at the Gap and I'm sure if you google it you can come up with a few online stores. As far as the silky Japanese style, those I've seen in chinatown in the city and I've also seen them in touristy type locations or costume stores. Online I found them here -

I know some of them are short, but seeing as they're handmade, you could ask for them to be made longer.

Is this what you mean ? I used them for all my kids ...very easy to change diapers. I don't know if they make them with drawstrings anymore ...all I've seen are with elastic.

looking for the fabric type. I forgot about etsy! That's a great place to look. Thanks! I'm not sure what size... I think 6 month or larger..

My nephew is only a week old, but he has to wear a brace on his legs that wraps around his shoulders to make sure his hips grow into the joints correctly, so most of the clothes my sister has for him aren't fitting over the brace. He only has to wear it 8 weeks, but since it's pretty cold out today (60s!!) I thought I'd find some outfits he can wear
