Apple Wood

I just picked a lot of apple wood from an orchard. The man said that they cannot call it organic because they do not know if other orchards are sprayed. His orchard is next to his dads which are pretty much at the end of street. Will it be safe to use it?

Use at your own risk, it boils down to what you are comfortable giving your chins. Trees that are sprayed generally won't drift more than a couple hundred feet but larger orchards are crop dusted and it does blow around a lot. We used to get residue all over the windows when they'd dust the fields next to us.

I don't think they wouldn't air crop dust by plane because they are near the national forest. We are going back this weekend so I will ask more questions.
