Anyone know about antiques?

I have this ceramic dachshund... he has a corked ceramic straw hat that opens to a cavity, and he has 4 pegs on his back that holds 4 little "mugs" or cups. Cups are plastic, he's not marked, but the cups are marked Japan. The cups sit on the pegs.


I'll get him cleaned up and try to get a pic posted if my phone agrees to it.

Two words: Antiques Roadshow That's the most help I can give you--I know nothing personally about antiques.

I couldn't find anything on ebay or when I looked on line. Of course I have no idea what is is actually called. I don't know that it's a teapot, as there is no spout...

Roadshow doesn't usually come through the middle of nowhere, and that's where I live, lol.

Post a picture. Maybe someone can tell you exactly what kind of tableware it is. Are there any other markings on it? A date or a company name? If you find something it might help you look it up.
