I recently had gotten two chinchillas so my chinchilla chacha that ive had for over 2 years could play with and have company. We let them out at playtime just to see eachother and chacha bit one of the new ones fur out and ran in the carrier cage i had with the two new ones in it to try and attack them. I picked chacha up and took the fur out of her mouth and she bit me it broke the skin. I was holding her and her body was shaking.
Also i would like the add the two new ones dont mind her the breeder i got them from had alot of chinchillas so they seem pretty use to them.
Can anyone tell me why she bit me and was shaking?
And also if theyres anyways i can get her to get use to them?

It's typically harder (in my experience) to intro any chins to chins that are older (like 2 yrs) and have been alone. She may never accept pals, but if that's the case, don't feel bad, because she's choosing to be alone.

Chances are that she bit you because she was already upset over the situation and it was transferred anger. Like how they say don't get in the middle of a dog fight because the dogs may bite you. Same with chins.

As for how to get your chin used to the new ones, see the intro link posted above. But sometimes, chins just will never accept buddies.
