Does your chinchilla wait for you too? I usually open the cage door and whenever I leave the room and come back, he peeps out the cage door to see if i'm coming or not and when i do come in, he quickly goes back in and goes to his corner or pretends nothing ever occured and go play on his saucer haha. Could this be that he's taking an interest in me 8D??
