I ordered fleece online from joann a few weeks ago. I thought they were both blizzard fleece, but i got a shipment today and one reads blizzard fleece and the other reads alpine fleece. Whats the difference? And naturally, is it safe to sue?

So long as it's short cut fleece and not woolly type fleece it's fine. I actually liked huntingdon fleece the best when I was ordering online for guinea pig cages and dog blankets. It came in differing weights and it wasn't waterproofed which most fleece is until you wash and use it a few times.

Up here, we don't get 'blizzard fleece', we get 'arctic' fleece. The main thing I look for is that its anti-pill. Names tend to vary, but as long as its not got any wooly bits or fine little threads that could be ingested, it should be all right.
thats what i found odd about it. The one package i ordered was of blizzard fleece - two different colors. One of them that i got say 'blizzard' the other says 'alpine'

I'm guessing it's the same as blizzard fleece. The blizzard and polar and some others are all actually the same, just labeled different depending on where they are being sold. Joann's only sells blizzard not polar for example. As long as it says it's polyester, and it's not "furry", it should be fine. It should feel the same as the blizzard too.
since my last order with joann hadn't been processed, i sent them a message regarding ordering details and i mentioned that some of what they sent me was Alpine and not fleece. After several days they finally sent a email back. They sent the shipping details for it and nothing about the alpine. I got the package today and it has alpine >< Cant say much for there service...

I would call the customer service number 1-888-739-4120 and make sure it's the right thing. If it's not they will likely try to get you the right thing through your regular store. It seems the online shopping warehouse is having some issues lately. I helped a girl at the store today that had gotten the wrong thing in her online order and customer service sent her to us to give her the right thing.
i called them. They said they will send me a return label so i can send the alpine fleece back for a refund. Unfourtionetly, they said the don't have an exchange program for items ordered online. So i should get the money back at least, but of course with that sale over i cant order the same thing again for the same price. (Assuming they sent me the right stuff this time anyway.)
