My baby boy is almost 1!! April 8th!! Time has gone wayyy too fast. We're gonna throw him a "Smurfday Party!" It'll be awesome!!

My oldest is 10, my baby is 8...where does time go? A first birthday is extra special, though! I hadn't even realized the smurfs were still around until recently! I'm sure Remy will have such a fun day - just keep your camera close by. Oh, and watch out for the cake - don't have him dressed too cute when he eats his birthday cake because there will be more on him than in him. Both of my boys had to be taken directly to the bathtub afterward!!!

Awww very cute! I always try to think outside the box for kaiden's parties, etc. I have an issue with mainstream things for some reason. lol It took every morsel of my being to buy him the "cars" crocs hes been wanting. hahahahah

I like the smurf idea though! That should be too cute & of course we all do expect photos!

You cant believe Remy is 1, i cant believe my little one is no longer little & now 3. BOY, time DOES fly. Seems like just last month you were posting that you were pregnant!

LOl I agree with Jen, have a bath waiting for him.. Kaiden went directly into the tub after his cake experience too! That was my favorite part!=](his too)

So will you have a full house of little ones or will this be a fairly sane kinda party? haaha

when my nepheu, dominic turned 1 he had his own mini cake that my mom baked, with BLUE frosting haha lets just say he and a nice blue face and blue hair haha, it was very fun.

oooh blue frosting, good idea for a smurf theme!!! I'm going to get a bakery to put a smurf on the cake saying "happy smurfday" But i also wanted to get him a small cake to eat/get messy with. I'll have to find blue, and bring a towel/washcloth lol

Oh, that will be so much fun! "Smurfday" is a fantastic theme! I think the 1 year birthday is one of the best because of watching the little ones dig into their cakes. You will have to take lots of pictures! :wink2:

When my grandson turned one the whole house was covered in cake. There were 4 one yearold there. Thank god for wood floors. I was thinking a hose but to cold in April. LOL Ok just kidding. Get a bunch of wipes.
