Hello fellow chin owners! Me and my sister live together and we both own two male chins that are about one year apart, and have been living in separate cages. Recently our older chin, Mouse, has began squeaking and getting scared even when someone is in the room. After some thinking, we came to the decision that it would be in our chins best interest to start living together in one cage. They already live in the same room, but it would be nice for each chin to have a playmate. Can someone please fully walk me through the accommodation process? It would be very helpful. Thank you!!

Use the search function here on the forum and you will find a ton of information on introductions. Keep in mind not all chins get along or want a cage mate.

Likewise, after going through the bonding process (which can be long and tiring)...will you and your sister be living together their entire lives? If not, perhaps mutual playtimes would be best?
