A smurfday collage

I went today to get his 1 year pictures taken, and this is the collage I got. The other pics won't be in until the 17th, so this will have to tide you over for now.

Also, he was wayyyy overtired by the end, hence the crying in the cupcake picture. I made our appointment for the earliest they had available, (12:30) and I STILL had to wait 45min-1hr to get back there (1:30 ish) so that cut into his nap time which is normally around 1 or 2. I wanted the cupake shot to be last since he'd be getting messy, but like I said by that time he was just sooo overtired he's like I DONT WANT IT! LETS GO HOME! He was a champ though. You can tell he wasn't so smiley, but thats ok, I think they came out great anyways!

You have to love when you TRY to get good professional shots of them they dont want anything to do with being happy(even given a cup cake) but any other time ALL smiles!

So what it the hat that set him off? Thats what did it at kaiden's b-day party on his 1st. haha

Oh, Remy did a great job! It's so hard to get "good" pictures of a 1 or 2 year old. They just don't have the ability to sit still and be happy on cue. I had a similar experience with my son, I think he was 2 or 3. I made an appt. that worked well for his nap schedule and still had to wait an hour before they led us back for pictures. I was so angry! Meanwhile, my son was tired and bored, ran around the store (Sears) and bumped his head on a shelf. He then had a cut on his forehead and was crying. He had had it by that point and we ended up having to walk away without getting any pictures. I never went back.

Remy is adorable and the pictures came out great! Hopefully his 2nd birthday photographer will get you in on time for an even more successful photoshoot.

Thanks!! We're not doing much today, just eat some french toast for breakfast, maybe go for a walk in a bit, and let him open one of his presents. We're saving the rest for Saturday, his party.
