So, I was thinking about this.
If you only had money to buy your chins one thing.. that they must have!
[Other then water and food and all the esentials]

What would it be?

I like the hanging chewies and would probably pick those first over everything else.

What about you?

Another new cage for the girls!

Haha, or, a nice, huge box of apple sticks, preferably drilled. Those are the favorites of my chins and I go through them faster than I can blink. :p

After food, bedding, wood houses & hay are covered - I guess my next thing would be wood/sticks of various types & textures. Then some willow stuff (it comes in such a variety of shapes!)

I want to try apple sticks. I am going to the orchard to get some.

Make sure they aren't sprayed with pesticides, correct me if I'm wrong but most orchards spray their trees unless they are completely organic (I think?)

If they aren't treated with pesticides/herbicides, they have to be prepared by boiling and baking. I personally just buy them from other people because I'm lazy and don't want to do all of that :D

If ledges and a wheel are included in essentials, I prepare my own wood for them. So to "buy" something then I guess it would be a toy for their playpen. I personally have a chinnie chew chew, and mine love it.

You're completely correct.

I'm a farmer though, so I know what's what. [Plus I just ask] And I am a do it yourself type person. So it keeps me busy and makes me feel like I really did something for them.. rather then just buy everything. [Though the stuff I buy is nice] Just doesn't give teh same satisfaction.

I know how to boil and bake the wood, so it's all gewd.:heart3:

Without a doubt, twigs of different sorts...mainly apple. I really wish I had an orchard around.

I am thankfully near lots of places.<3333
But there are lots of people that sell them really cheap here.
I was tempted to buy quite a few times.

Definitely a wheel! My chins love theirs. When they're not running in it, they're sleeping in it or just hanging out on it. Apple sticks are a close second though!

A cage with heavy duty locks!

Or cottonwood and aspen wood.

Anything they can destroy, that's what they seem to like the most. That includes willow balls, anything with grapevine, loofah, pumice, toys, etc.
