I have been looking at and reading on this site for months and have finally signed up myself. I love this place! People at are just as crazy for animals as much as I am, it's fantastic :thumbsup:
My story is simply, my name is Kelly and I live in central Kansas for now. I decided (out of the blue actually) that I wanted my own furry companions and that chinchillas would be perfect. After about two months of researching and finding a breeder near me, I bought my pair of violet males home with me. They where about 6 months old when I got them earlier this year but we have just celebrated their one year birthday last week. I love them dearly and couldn't imagine not having them. They're names are Natsu (one with the short tail) and Gray (normal tail). I look forward to learning so much more from this site!
