Just a small update on Gabe and Emma!
Emma had her two month appointment earlier this month (though she is going to be three months on the 30th). She weighs in at 13 pounds, 7 1/2 ounces. She is 24 and 3/4 inches long. Basically, the pediatrician says she's off the charts for both weight and height! Which is completely different from Gabe at this age, he was in the lower percentiles. But, he eventually caught up.
She's starting to smile and coo. We had to go to the vet yesterday for two chins, and my mom watched Emma. Apparently she pooped and was smiling as her diaper was being changed, like it was funny. LOL! Little goofball.
Gabe is getting more teeth in, so he's been super crabby. He's been up very early in the morning at least once a week, so it's hard on Dan and myself. Usually I find both Gabe and Emma crying at the same time, which I like to call "surround sound." LOL! Gabe goes in for his 18 (can you believe he's already 18 months?) month appointment on the 23rd, though he's 18 months on the 20th. We'll see how much he weighs. He has been getting a little better about trying new things, even if it's only for one day. He likes blueberry muffins, he tried pepperoni and he had one piece of scrambled egg today. Hopefully this keeps up and he continues to try new things.
I have pictures of the name plates my father made for the both of them if anyone is interested in seeing.
