So would it be okay then to fix my male, and sell the baby?

i DO have an emergency cage, the starter one I got when I got my first one. If they were to start fighting in ten minutes I'd have a space to keep one for a short period of time. It's not a big cage so it's not something that could be permanent.

My only issue with seperating them is that I'm living with my parents for the time being and there really isn't a lot of room for a second cage. Not one big enough to happily house a chinchilla for any length of time anyways. I guess I'll just sell the baby.

I realize that keeping him with Mom can lead to both baby and pops breeding her. Is it absolutely necessary that I get rid of him, or can I keep him and have him fixed to keep them from breeding? Originally when I got my female I said if there were any babies I would sell them, but I just got...

Haha nice, well enjoy your stay. Does anybody know if it's normal for Mom not to be gnawing? She has plenty of wood, and she's pretty picky and doesn't like chewing on old wood so I've been giving her new ones, but she's paying them no attention.
