I went to the FN thread to check out some set ups. Some bi-level units are kept as 2 & some I guess take out the middle. I only have 1 chinchilla so would it be best to remove the middle? I would just be paranoid of him falling to the bottom. But I'm guessing as long as there are enough ledges...
They sleep with their eyes open? I find this difficult to believe. Although I found this post trying to search the forum for info on chinchilla standing in 1 corner for most of the day.
I just got mine 2 weeks ago & it came with the exact same cage. I'm curious is this enough room for 1?
