Thanks so much! Yeah I've seen that it's safe on some of the random sites claiming certain woods are safe but I'd much rather double check on here than just blindly trust a website I'm not sure of.. which fb page are you talking about?

I have been scouring the forum's various safe wood lists and threads and haven't found a concrete confirmation on whether or not basswood is safe. Anyone have any knowledge or experience with this particular wood? I have a few blocks that were intended to be carved but are now sitting unused

I actually play music for Pluto during the night! He seems to enjoy it and sometimes will try and talk to certain songs. I also live in a small apartment and don't have room for a tv in the same room as my chin, so a radio might also be a good alternative if he's seemed extra lonely

I've been bathing him a little more often just because he's had issues with fur matting from the previous owner. I keep the temp in the room at 68-70 and he doesn't feel overly warm. The dust is left over from the previous owner as well and is just the kaytee brand dust. I'll definitely bring it...

He's actually peeing within a minute or 2 of coming out of the cage! I usually try to clean it as soon as he does but there's quite a few times where he will pee and immediately roll on the spot. I will definitely attempt litter training soon if this keeps up.. thank you both!
