    Reviews on Infomercials

My favorite things on infomercials are the Shake Weight (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xXHUdvvHTkw .. almost ****) - made especially for women!! Kills me every time - it's gotta be a joke right? And the No!No! Hair Removal system - I can't find the exact video but the guy with the fake british...

    Cooldown after Playtime

The girls' cage is tiled, so the entire floor stays very cool. Before she had a spot where the AC would come in (it was further from her when she was in the bedroom), she would sprawl out onto the tile and chill there for a while.

After only having him 16 days, I get to see his personality come out! :D

Wow does he ever love that hammock!! Only one of mine likes hers, which is sad cause chinnies in hammocks are so cute. Your little guy is adorable!

    Cooldown after Playtime

Since we moved Chia from the bedroom into the office in May, she's had only a few playtimes. The past couple times, I noticed her smooshing up against her cage in the spot where a little draft comes in from the AC (I put a piece of fleece down that side of the cage which keeps out 90% of the...

    Air conditioning vent

My bf is usually pretty good, but there was one time when he left the office door wide open when he left to go out, and the rest of our house isn't air conditioned, so it can warm up quickly. Luckily it was a cooler day in very early summer and we weren't gone long (he'd come to meet me) so the...

Thank you!! I use a Canon 40D DSLR. It's a bit old but it works really really well.

    Abby Photoshoot :)

After scritches behind her ears :3 And a gratuitous photo of Chia eating one my designs for work (don't worry I didn't actually let her eat it!)

    Chia the Pest

I know right?? She really knows what she's doing. It didn't! Sadly our apartment isn't air conditioned, only the office (where the chinnies are) and bedroom. So playtime can only happen on the cooler days when it's cool enough in the bathroom to let them out. Poor babies didn't get any...

    Chia the Pest

When she doesn't get playtime, Chia is a serious pest. I know that chins can do fine without playtime, but Chia does not do well without it - she becomes antsy, and does stuff like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vibXZZQS-xY It's both endearing and incredibly irritating!

    Playtime Spaces/Rooms?

Thats such a cool playroom, I'm jealous! I think when I do have a designated chin room, I'll probably be putting so much planning into it, people will swear I'm making a nursery...

    Playtime Spaces/Rooms?

I would love to use the hallway but since we live in an apartment, we have 6ft openings to the living room and kitchen, which would be a bit rough to block off. I think the bathroom is the best place for now, even though we can't necessarily control the temperature, I only take them out when...

    Holy Crap!

I find it kinda creepy personally... :S

    Playtime Spaces/Rooms?

Cardboard is a good idea! We have some that we planned to use to block the chins from going under the bed and near the nightstand which is where the majority of the wires are, but we never got around to putting it up. The only other space is between the wall and the TV which can easily be...

    Playtime Spaces/Rooms?

I've noticed a lot of people let their chinchillas run around in their bedrooms, living rooms, etc. How do you chin proof these rooms? We have 2 air conditioned rooms, the office where the chins are, and the bedroom. My bedroom has wires and nooks and crannies the chins could get into, and of...

The Importance of Chin-Proofing ANY cage

I love that video! It's so cute how the baby looks like he's testing out if he can fit through, and makes his escape when no other chin is around. Super cute!!

Just read someone on tumblr saying the advocate getting chins high

Why would someone WANT to get their chinchilla high? Especially if the only effect is eating more... Doesn't seem amusing to me. [not that I would be okay with getting a chinchilla high if there WERE amusing effects, don't get me wrong.]

    Divorce/Separation of Property?

Those are my thoughts as well, that she is entitled to half. I'm not sure about what's in the divorce papers, but that's a good point also. Having never been divorced myself (or even married for that matter!) it's really hard for me to even know where to start looking into this kind of thing...
