I had a fluke thing happen with the fasteners recently. I've been using them since Randy showed me and didn't have anything weird happen until my FAVORITE violet got the head of the fastener caught on her lower teeth. She didn't get the collar over her mouth though, but proceeded to break off...

I asked Hubbs this question once and he said he'd sell them all - and quickly I am sure. lol I'm hoping, and pretty sure, he would contact other chin people we know. And am hoping that they would take them in and continue with the work I have done in trying to produce nice chins.

The raffle basket stuff is Paul's department. He contacted companies for samples, etc. He told me he had products from those companies already, but I don't what ones.

I did not have that in the schedule at this time, but may be able to fit it in the end of the day if there seems to be a demand for it.

I am still working on a schedule, but here is what is planned so far. Check out the attached flyer for more details. Plan to attend the weekend of August 5th/6th!! :D

LOL!! On that note - the last Scottish Highlander calf we had born wouldn't stay in the fence either. Every morning I would find him in the middle of my flower garden!

I just had a mystery kit a couple of weeks ago that came shooting out from under my breeder cages when I was cleaning. At that point, I had a set of breeders done already and hadn't noticed anything telling me there should have been a baby in a cage. I checked bottoms to all of my moms and...

Most likely, it was either hiding in the cage, or getting in and out of the cage at will all month long and mom was feeding him. He obviously has been well cared for despite being a mystery. Glad to hear he is doing so well!

Yeah - Gene pointed that out yesterday as well, but I can't change that post. Maybe one of the moderators can?? Lynn - I hope someone is able to pick you up in Milwaukee! Not sure I would be able to, but maybe someone over that way is coming and can bring you with. :D

I do not have a list of members who are certified, but I do know that some are. I was, but when it came time to re-certify, I couldn't get a vet to come out to do it. It's not difficult, there an easy set of guidelines, but the vets around here are either large animal or strictly cats and dogs...

OOh - this is on my wish list, too, but I do not have the problem Laurie has as I rarely paint my nails... lmao!

You can get ranch certified through MCBA as well. It's the same set of regulations. Contact Pam Kleman about it, as she is our secretary.
