It's a long story... in the end, there was neither a contest nor a winner. But I think everyone was happily fed. I made two batches, using Cindy's and Megan's recipes. They both turned out great and will definitely use the recipes again in the future. Thanks for all the help and yumminess!

Can your recipe be without walnuts Cindy? One of the "judges" doesn't like walnuts in her brownies... I would be making these the night before, so your smore brownie recipe probably wouldn't work for this event. But feel free to post it, I'm sure I can use it for another occassion!

Hehe... Not a tarantula, but still essential for my hobby. I recently acquired a starter colony of Blaptica dubia in hopes of breeding my own feeders. However, I never realized how pretty the adults are! Well, at least I think so... lol.

I like http://www.vegetariantimes.com/. There is a checkbox when searching for recipes and I think all of those options (besides the tomato allergy) are available to check. I used to get this magazine and have tried lots of their recipes. Most are pretty easy to make and delicious!

I am not a hedgie owner, but I use a space heater for for my spider room. If you choose to go with a space heater, I also recommend one has a thermostat, it will turn on when temperatures go below your desired setting. I use a bionaire tower. It has a safety that will automatically shut the...

And the final result... An almost 1" spiderling! Hooray!
