Where to get Chinchillas in Alberta?

Hi, where are you? I know that there are a few breeders in AB. I wish I could convince my daughter to bring one back for you when she visits me next month from Edmonton, but there is no way she would do that because of her allergies.

How do I creat links to my website and who would like to swap website links

Hi, I would have my website done by now but I have been working hard on trying to get my website picked up by search engines. I have been told that I need to post links to my page on other people's websites in order to help it get picked up. Would someone PLEASE tell me how to do this and are...

    Face paralyzed during dental filing?

How long has it been that way? My mother had that happen to her once when I was a kid. The dentist had hit a nerve when he was numbing her mouth. She recovered in a few hours. Hope your chinny does as well.

    Flying with Chinchillas

I figured that they would not go as carryon as from what I have heard airlines are starting to not allow pets as carryon. What I mostly need is the details as to what is involved with making arrangements, costs and experiences people have had doing this, My son and his friend will be flying from...

    Flying with Chinchillas

My son is flying to SLC in a few weeks and I am hoping he can bring back some chins from Craners for me and a few other people. Has anyone experienced flying with chins? Do they travel as carryon or do they fly down in the hold? Need to know if there was a cost, where animals travrelled or...

    Escsped Chin!!

It didn't even take that long for me. I opened the door to put some food in her bowl and out she jumped. She is back inside now, thank goodness.

    Moving cross country

It will be April 27th at the Red Lion Inn in Bellevue. The Red Lion Inn is very easy to find as it is just off of 405. I believe it is exit 12. What city will you be living in?

Looking forward to another chinny lover in the Seattle area. Hope you will have time to come to the show in Bellevue at the end of April. Where will you be living?

    Plexiglas/Acrylic

The way that Doug would make them for my FN cages they would not be able to get to the edges.

    Plexiglas/Acrylic

I had a good suggestion on another forum on how to do it so that they won't chew on it. Husband has agreed to make them for me, excited to see how they turn out! Who knows, maybe they will soon be available on my new Chinnychews website when it is done next week.

    Plexiglas/Acrylic

Has anyone here had experience with using Plexiglas in their chinchilla cages? I am not talking about top to bottom so that there is no air circulation, but rather as a poop guard. When they chew on it can they destroy it?

    Pricing Chins by Colour Alone?

Actually the point that I was trying to make was not that Chins shouldn't go for more money but that BYB, who know very little about them are selling them, not by their qualilty, but rather by their colour, nothing more. It would be great if reputable breeders who have invested so much could get...

    Pricing Chins by Colour Alone?

Well then next time you are up in the Seattle area you will need to come and ride a Lipizzan and experience the difference.

    Pricing Chins by Colour Alone?

Lol, I don't have Lipizzans because of their colour, do you have any idea the work involved in keeping a white horse clean! I was recently chatting with the chief rider of the Spanish Riding School and I asked him what the School's secret was to keeping all of those stallions so sparkly white. I...

    Pricing Chins by Colour Alone?

Lol, I had to giggle, I doubt that my 86 year old mother really cares what I spend on vet bills, considering the thousands of dollars she has spent herself over her lifetime. If you go up a few posts you will read that I did just make a purchase of two excellent quality chins and as a matter of...

    Pricing Chins by Colour Alone?

Sadly a lot of buyers do not realize that the price is inflated and end up buying an inferior chin from a BYB just because it was a pretty colour.
