    Stain and odor remover

Do you spray the vinegar on ANY surface? Also do you just leave it to air dry or do you wipe it off?

    Lethargic Chin

Help! My chin is in the middle of bonding with a male chin. Right now I have separated them as she seems really lethargic and not her normal self. She moves like it takes her a lot of effort to do so. She also seems to lose her balance sometimes.

    Chinchilla arching back backwards

Thanks for all the positive replies so far. So this behavior of theirs is not related to the symptoms that some hamsters get known as star gazing right?

Hey I can't access that video. Any other way I could look at the video instead?

    Stain and odor remover

Does anyone use stain and odor remover to wipe out the scent of their chin cage? I am currently getting another chin and would have to remove the scent from my current chin before I house the two of them back in the cage so that there won't be any territorial fights. I was recommended Bramton...

    Chinchilla arching back backwards

Hi guys, may I know if this behavior is something to be concerned about. Gary likes to arch his back backwards as he looks upwards but before he loses his balance he will move back to normal position. I have never seen him lose his balance when he does this action. I took a screen shot of him...

    healthy treats

I've been feeding my chins OxBow Barley Biscuits, they come in cute heart shaped sizes and I split it in half to give one half to each chin once a day. I don't give anything like raisins/wheats/oats as their poop would become irregular and it doesn't seem to help them have a good fur quality...

My FN182 Interior Plans (3D Concept)

I think white would match anything. As for the interior, the white with the cheveron pattern is awesome.

    replacing plastic base

Wood would be perfectly fine as long as it is chinchilla safe wood! Found this link recently that tells you what are safe and what are not safe wood. You can take a look at it?

    I did it!

Have been thinking about adding a safety measure regarding this matter but I can't think of anyway as there is no way of me hanging a hammock in the middle. Do you guys have any other suggestions?

    Fleece liner question.

Get a fleece that is bigger than that of your pan. Then wrap it and leave all excess to the bottom of the pan and use safety pins to clips everything together and make the top surface tight.

My FN182 Interior Plans (3D Concept)

When my chin plays with her hanging chew toy I have never seen her lost her balance before. She likes to hold on to it and it tilts a little because of the weight of her. Other than that, her balance seems fine while chewing the hanging toy. Good luck with your new chins btw :)

    Tips on Potty Training chinchillas

I currently have one potty trained chin and in a week's time I'll be getting another one and they will be staying in the same cage. I use fleece for the bottom level of my cage and a glass pan that is filled with peewee for my chin to pee in. Would it be good enough in potty training the new...

My FN182 Interior Plans (3D Concept)

Hmmm, the chew toys might end up touching the moving wheel? Or is the space between them big enough to ensure there won't be any contact? Other than that, loving the 3D visual :)

    hammocks

How tight are your hammocks attached to the cage? My chin doesn't seem to like the hammock too much. Whenever she ends up on it, she immediately struggles to jump out of it. Might it be that my hammock isn't tied taut?
