    Which Cage?

They have this one in the UK http://www.petplanet.co.uk/product.asp?dept_id=456&pf_id=63423 It's similar to the CN. :)

    Recent humping?

I'll check around. :] Not sure if I have any that the cat hasn't stolen Lol.

    Recent humping?

I've been meaning to purchase one, but I just haven't gotten around to it. My other chin likes pillows, so I tried putting one in his cage. He completely ignored it. Maybe it wasn't the right shape? Lol. I hope so Lol. I've had to change some sweaters because of him.

    Recent humping?

Momo(mosaic) has been with me since May 2014. He was born on 7/11/13. For the last few months(I think, can't remember when it started), he has been humping me. He gets pretty into it too. As slightly entertaining as it is(he got a friend of mine too, it was hilarious to watch her failed...

    Cleaning cage for new chins

I also vacuum with the chins still in the cage. They usually chill out in their tube or go to whichever level I'm not cleaning. I change the liners with them in there as well. I just block off the part that separates the two halves of the cage and I clean one at a time. I just shush the chin...

    Oxbows to expensive

I'm not sure if that rabbit food is okay... If you want to use a rabbit food, you'll want either Manna Pro Pro/Sho, or Purina Rabbit Show. However, I believe they all come in larger bags so you'll waste some of it if you only have one chin. Manna Pro Sho is about $20 and comes in a 50lb bag. I...

Plans and a few questions before bringing home Chin

You don't need a litter box. Personally... I just use a glass baking dish filled with bedding, as it allows me to use the fleece longer. If you're willing to change it every other day, I'd say go for it. You'll want a glass water bottle since they can chew through plastic ones. I buy my dust...

    Has anyone tried these?

^I agree! Small Pet Select is a hit with mine. They waste less, it's nice and green, smells great, etc... I don't have to cut it like the person above said, but I think that depends on the hay holder. :] They have a lot of coupons and free items available as well. I've got $15 off my next order. :]

A few photos for you guys :D (mostly about Momo)

Yup, that's just his fleece Lol. It's actually a light blue. I always use a solid color on the bottom of the liner. Usually the solid color goes farther down than that but that one is a bit crooked. :P

A few photos for you guys :D (mostly about Momo)

They're not defensive with anything, unless it's Chilly being possessive over his cage when Momo is close. Styrofoam? Lol. Do you mean the fleece?

A few photos for you guys :D (mostly about Momo)

So... Chilly has been quite sassy recently. I think he's in his bratty stage, because he's just full of opinions. He still loves his head and belly rubbed, and chin scratches are a must... But he still won't let me hold him. He's obviously not afraid of me, just the action of being held. He...

A few photos for you guys :D (mostly about Momo)

While waiting for my father to stop in for my birthday, I thought I would post some pictures and give a little update for everyone! I love both my chins dearly... but Momo and I definitely have the better relationship. Not only is he more comfortable around humans in general, but he loves to be...

    Buying a second chin

^I misread your post Lol. I thought you wanted to get a male friend for your female, so disregard that part Lol. I dislike having two cages but oh well... It keeps my babies safe and happy so that's all that matters. :]

    Buying a second chin

^I second what Stackie said. You also don't want to get one of the opposite gender... Breeding can be complicated, costly, and lethal to chins if you don't know what you are doing. If you try to pair him with another chin, get a male. My chins are a perfect example of this... I wanted to get...

Fun things for a chinchilla cage

You could get a tube. My chins love their tubes more than anything else. A fleece hanging house could be a good addition ac well. If you don't already have ledges in it, you should add some of those. :]

    Ledges

I have no idea what Menards is... None of those around here. My wood always costs a good $20-30. I get two different sizes, one for the ledge and one for the poo guard.

    Ledges

Elmers non toxic wood glue! I use food coloring to color my wood. Where did you buy the wood? I've never seen those sections at my HD and Lowes.

How much do you feed your chin(s)?

I free feed mine as well. I usually fill the bowl up, then top it off the next day(sometimes I need to take some out, sometimes not) so I'm not dumping the whole bowl daily.

    Bonding chinchillas?

You should only get another one if you are willing to house them in two different cages. You'll need to quarantine the new one so you'll need two cages anyway. If you are willing to have them live separately, go ahead and give it a try. Average experiences will not help you... It's all in the...
