EBG V-1549 "Ronin"
Pulled this guy out of breeding to rough groom him as well. He's very friendly and would make a great pet too. He has cute crinkled ears that give him character (due to an evil female a few yrs back).
B-48
He's actually probably more of a medium dark standard. Proven breeder, just pulled him out of the breeding cage and rough groomed him for a picture.

Ryan, you're right... in my wire-sided cages with walls that move when the chins bounce around, I do get some dripping. In my wood - sided runs, not so much since everything is a little more solid.
I had that problem a lot with the Super Pet glass bottles. Now I've been using the glass bottles with rubber stoppers and glass tips (like the ones the Ryersons sell) for a number of years now. Works well for me.
Mornings, I just do a check for babies and feed/water if necessary. Evenings, I fill feeders, give hay, fill water bottles, give supplement, and dust.
Once a week, I clean cages, vacuum, and give hay cubes.
It just sounds like slipped tail fur. I've even done it myself accidently when grooming my chins without a firm grip. As long as there is no blood or abraded skin, I would just leave it alone and the hair will eventually grow back. If there is actually a scrape where bacteria could get in, I...
A plain pellet diet is best. If he will eat hay, that is even better as at least there is some fiber intake moving things through the GI tract. If given lots of hay and only pellets, he will eventually eat the pellets, given no other option.
I have a PUR filter that I mounted to my faucet. It can filter out microorganisms and Giardia cysts. I think the filter was around $20 and then my refill cartridges are $20 for two. Better to be safe than sorry.
Hope you can make it. There's so much to learn at the shows. You will get firsthand grooming experience and you can have your chins evaluated by a judge to determine how best to pair them for breeding. I'm driving up from CA. It should be a good show!
The wires look quite thin and would probably break easily if you attach a wheel or shelves. The weight of a chin running on a wheel or bouncing on the shelves will probably eventually snap those wire bars.
