Agree with Susan...once blood is drawn, you must separate them ASAP!!! Or, risk possibly coming home to a dead chin. :( Pull the bully/abuser and house him alone. Anytime you have multiple chins, even siblings, together in a cage, you must have an emergency cage on hand to separate them in...

It's true about "vet cooties". Anytime I have to take one my bonded pair anywhere, they BOTH go. It's not just vet cooties, but then that way, when we get home, nobody "owns" the cage. Things are as they always were. Good luck with your baby. Maybe give him a roll in the communal dust bath so...

Tupperware??? No way -- it's plastic. That would just be an appetizer for them!!! LOL!!! Glass jars/metal storage containers would be better. Hope everyone is OK...

If they have a favorite corner, you could put a high sided corner pan with shavings/Carefresh in it and the high corner would help contain their pee. You could also put a piece of fleece over both sides of the corner as a shield, and something under the cage to catch the runoff.

I would keep her at your parents' and get her a wheel. As has been said, at least she'll be safe with your parents and you can get her back. You can even see her on holiday breaks and summers!!!

Split the FN in half immediately and get the other chin in the cage. Free roaming is NOT recommended.

I had the pleasure of meeting Buddy's mom, Linda, at the ECBC National Show in Denver last month. I hope to get to meet Buddy himself next year at the Seattle show!!!
