One of my chins was drooling for awhile. I could tell by the smell, I brought him to the vet, and they filed his teeth down. He's no longer drooling and is acting like his old self, it was an issue for awhile, so i'm glad I went in. You should bring him to a vet that knows about chins to check...

The main wood I buy is apple, Not really sure what the other ones are. Just the typical colored ones from petsmart. I have loose hay and hay cubes. Haven't seen him chew on either. I think Tigger chews up the cubes. Neither seems to care too much for the loose hay, it looks like they just dump...

So after a long ordeal with his teeth, he had them filled successfully and is now eating his normal dry pellets, and is excited to take his treat, before he didn't care as much and has gained his weight back, no drooling and is acting like his old self which is great. But, I still don't see him...

Thanks everyone. I have hay cubes out, tigger chews on them occasionally. I'm going to try different hay, and also soaking the wood. Hopefully that helps. I'm sure it will take a another day or two since I'm sure his mouth is still sore from Monday. Thanks for all the suggestions!

So eeyore seems to not really care for chews, I didn't realize how long he didn't care for them, but obviously for awhile. I don't want him to have to go through another teeth filing, and hope he starts to chew so he can hopefully avoid it. But is there anything you can do to encourage them to...

Ok, his tongue looked a little bigger then normal, so he's probably still pretty sore. He probably got in around 10ml between both of the the tries. I'll keep trying and get around 10-15ml more in him before I call it a night. Thanks!

Ok thank you. I'll space them apart by a couple hours. Is there any certain amount I shouldn't go over in one sitting? I tried giving him some twice, he took a very little. Could he just not be hungry and not in the mood to eat from having his teeth filled?

Sorry if this sounds dumb, but 1 cc is the same as 1 ml right? On my syringe I have oz and cc, not sure if it's the same measurement as the results i'm finding online that say 1ml=1cc.

They gave him some pain medicine there, but didn't give me any to go home with. I'm just wondering if he doesn't eat tonight or tomorrow how much cc's of CC he should get.

Are there any stores you can you buy pumice stones/wood chew pieces/toy pieces? I'm assuming to hang them you can find hardware at any hardware store or possibly Wal-Mart/target. But where do some of you get the toy parts etc.....to make your own? Thanks.
