My sweet baby Inca had malo. He went to the vet today and they kept him to file his teeth. After he came out of the anesthesia he passed away. I miss my little white fluff ball already. Malo just sucks! RIP sweet boy and suffer no more.

My oldest guy Inca also does this. I watch him eat his pellets, but its like he eats some and crumbles the rest up (almost to powder). He doesnt have any problems that the vet or myself have noticed. They did not do Xrays, just a wellness check.

Very cute! My Ellie Mae would be thinking "get that away from my face you silly human".

I use them as long as they are in good shape. I do rearrange when I clean cages and swap things out.

I know this may sound kinda harsh, but even if they dont like it, I think you should double check to make sure they are males. If you could lift their back end up by holding the base of the tail and get someone to snap a quick pic, people on here can look at the pic and tell you what they are...

My hedgie cage and my piggie cage is about 5 ft apart and I've never had troubles. Does your hedgie have a wheel? If so, the wheel shaking the cage would be my only concern as it may scare piggie.
